I'd rank it as between "Tremors" and "Tremors2". You're too generous putting it near "Army of Darkness". That's like comparing the "Buck Rogers" pilot to "Star Wars"

Hey man, the pilot to Buck Rogers had princess Ardala in a thong on broadcast TV, and Buck getting in bed with her to Porn Jazz..
..it was a groundbreaking visionary statement in 1979.
